How to Monetize Your Pinterest through Pepperjam Network

Creating an Affiliate Pin using the “Upload a Pin” method:

  • Find an item you want to Pin from the advertiser’s website. For example, we will be creating a pin for the Lariat Choker by BaubleBar, found at BaubleBar

 

  • Right click the item’s image and save onto your computer

 

  • Use the Pepperjam Link Generator to create an affiliate link to the item’s specific URL on the advertiser’s website

 

  • Copy the link onto your Clipboard
  • Login to your Pinterest account
  • Click the “+” sign in the bottom right hand corner of the screen
  • Click “Upload a Pin”

 

  • Click “Choose Image” and select the image saved to your computer

  • Choose the image you have saved to your computer and select Open
  • “Pick a board” box will generate

 

  • The option to add a description underneath the Pin is available
  • Pick which board you would like to save your Pin to

  • Uploaded box will generate, click See It Now or hover over the Pin and click the Edit Icon to edit the website address of the pin

 

  • Paste the affiliate link from your Clipboard into the Website Field

 

  • Click Save
  • Your pin is now affiliatized!

 

Creating an Affiliate Pin using Pinterest Bookmarklet:

  • Click the floating “+” button in the bottom right hand corner of your Pinterest

  • Select “Get our Browser Button” to add the Bookmarklet to your browser
  • Go to the advertiser’s website and browse page on which the item you wish to pin is offered

 

  • Use the Pepperjam Link Generator to create an affiliate link to the item’s specific URL on the advertiser’s website

  • Copy the tracking URL generated to your Clipboard
  • Click the Pinterest Icon in your Bookmarks to choose an image from the page for your Pin

 

 

 

  • Hover over image and select Save

 

  • Pick a board to save it to

  • Once saved, hover over the Pin and click on the Edit icon to edit the website link

  • Delete the current website link that is automatically generated in the Website field

 

  • Paste the Pepperjam Link from your Clipboard into the Website field

 

  • Click Save
  • Your pin is now affiliatized!

    It has been the policy of Pinterest to strip affiliate links. That is the case with Amazon. How is it different with Pepperjam?
