Please take a moment to watch this short Homepage video.
Thank you for watching our homepage how to video! I hope this was a helpful demonstration. You should now have a good understanding of where to find and how to review the notifications section, account balance section, sale/transaction section, program status section, and the top performers section. Below is the video transcript for further review.
Welcome and Congratulations on your new Pepperjam Affiliate Network account! I am here to help you get started. I will walk through all of the necessary steps to help you successfully build out your affiliate program so that you can be up and running in no time!
I will begin by walking you through the homepage. Once you are logged on, you will notice several different categories on your home screen, along with several different tabs. The home screen categories include notifications, account balance, sales/transactions, program status, and top publishers.
This section will allow you to check all of your notifications, such as publisher applications. You can also view recent news such as the name change from PepperJam to eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions. We recommend that you log in often and check this section in case there are any important notifications waiting for your review.
In this section you can check beginning balances, deposits, charges and commissions as well as your available funds. You also have to ability to add more funds here by clicking on the orange “add funds” button. Once you click this button it will take you to the payment profile screen where you will again click on the “add funds” button. When adding funds via credit card, simply choose the “using credit card” payment type and leave the payment profile set to “default” as you will have no other choice. Next add the payment amount which you desire and then click the orange “add funds” button at the bottom. Please note that your funds will be immediately added to your account.
This section will allow you to view your sales and transactions. You can also view these in different time frames by selecting a specific time frame from the dropdown box in the upper right hand corner. You can view time frames such as the last 30 days, the previous 3 months or the current year. You will also notice that there is a tab at the bottom of the box where you can view transaction summary report. If you click this tab, it will take you to a transaction summary report that is automatically set to the last 30 days. You can of course change the time frame by simply selecting a specific time frame from the drop down box in the select date range area.
This section will show you pending commission, delayed commission, locked commission, paid commission, total sales and total leads. Commission will go into pending status for the length of the locking period which typically is 30 days. It is put in pending status in case you were to have to make adjustments due to returns or partial returns and possibly even fraud. Once out of pending status, it will then go into locked commission status until the money is paid. Once the money is paid it goes into paid commission. Delayed commission occurs when there is a problem with payment such as the advertiser does not have enough funds to make a payment at this time. Once again, you have the option to change the time frame depending on which numbers you would like to view.
Top performers Bar Graph:
Here you will be able to view which publishers performed the most in commissions and sales. You can also change the time frame for top performers. This section also has a link available for you to view a transaction summary report. This report is the same one as the one available under sales/transaction section that was previously discussed.
You will also notice at the top right hand part of the page your company name with your program ID number right under it. If you click on your company name, it will take you directly to a program settings page where you will be able to edit your program.
You will also be able to see your month to date sales labeled MTD. If you click on the number below that, it will take you directly to the transaction summary report page where you can run a monthly report.
Thank you for watching our homepage how to video! I hope this was a helpful demonstration.
